【T01】APP cannot connect to the camera: Failed to add the device after QR code scan, stuck waiting for connection, incorrect pairing indicator status, or abnormal offline status.

1) Turn on the physical Wi-Fi switch on the camera side. Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, grant location permission to the APP, and enable Bluetooth.;

2) Press the PAIR key following the APP prompts. The camera indicator flashes green; complete network configuration as instructed.

3) If the indicator flashes red, the device has entered pairing mode with the monitor. Power cycle the device, wait for 30 seconds, then press the PAIR key again per APP prompts to re-enter the green-flashing state.

4)For re-networking of devices already added in the APP or abnormally offline devices: verify the router works properly, then try removing and re-adding the device.Escalate to manual support if the issue persists after multiple attempts.

【T02】Monitor disconnects from camera / monitor red light flashing: No camera picture on the monitor, disconnection prompt, or the monitor status light flashes red.

A flashing red light on the monitor means the camera has disconnected; the camera and monitor are pre-paired at the factory.

1) Make sure the camera is powered by the included adapter and raise the monitor antenna;

2) Safely place both devices close together with no obstruction and observe;

3) Only when adding a new camera or after a reset, go to Menu → Camera → Add Camera (the camera indicator should flash red during pairing). If a previously working pre-paired device keeps disconnecting,try deleting the device and re-adding it. Escalate to manual support if the issue persists.

【T03】Weak signal, lag, or disconnection at long range: Video delay, stutter, lower signal bars, or disconnection when moving to another room.

In No-WiFi mode the transmission range is up to about 600 m/2,000 ft in open areas; walls, floors, metal, glass and appliances weaken the signal, and metal obstacles usually have the most obvious effect. No-WiFi mode: raise the monitor antenna and keep the camera and monitor away from metal, thick walls, floors and large appliances; Wi-Fi mode: confirm both the camera's network and the phone's network are stable; perform one "original position vs. close, unobstructed position" comparison and record the signal bars and delay. If disconnection persists at close range without obstruction, or two rounds of differentiated checks cannot narrow down the cause, escalate to human support.

【T04】Can it be used without Wi-Fi: The user has no home network, the network is temporarily down, or wants to reduce the camera's Wi-Fi connection.

Yes, it can. In No-WiFi mode the monitor connects directly to the camera without internet; the camera's Wi-Fi can be disabled via the physical switch. If App remote viewing is needed, both the camera and phone need a stable network, and App pairing uses 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. If the monitor still cannot connect in No-WiFi mode, refer to T02; if the App cannot connect, refer to T01.

【T05】Night picture turns black and white: Color during the day, black and white at night or in dark conditions.

In low light the camera automatically switches to infrared night vision; a black-and-white picture is usually normal (rated night vision distance: 6 m). 1) Confirm whether the issue only occurs at night or in dark conditions; 2) Make sure the light sensor area on the camera is not blocked by the stand, fabric or other objects; 3) Observe under normal indoor lighting to see if color returns automatically. If it stays black and white under normal lighting with no obstruction, escalate to human support

【T06】Sound is too low: Can't hear the baby clearly, camera-side sound is low during two-way talk, or the lullaby is too quiet.

The device comes with active howling suppression enabled by default. When the camera and monitor are placed close to each other, the monitor volume will be dynamically reduced to prevent acoustic howling. This will not affect normal operation at the recommended installation distance. The three audio channels have independent volume controls: to hear the baby, raise the monitor speaker volume with Volume + on top of the monitor; for two-way talk, go to Menu → Camera → Camera Volume or App Camera View → Settings → Audio Settings; for the lullaby, go to Menu → Music → Playback Volume or App Lullaby → Volume. If there is no improvement after clearly raising the corresponding volume, or persistent noise/no sound occurs, escalate to human support.

【T07】Whistling/feedback when camera and monitor are close: A piercing high-frequency sound or feedback occurs when the two devices are near each other.

Audio feedback may occur when the camera and monitor are within about 2 m/6 ft of each other. Move the camera and monitor at least about 2 m apart, avoid pointing the speaker directly at the microphone, and observe once at the new fixed position. If the whistling persists after increasing the distance, stop moving the devices repeatedly and escalate to human support.

【T08】Cry, noise, motion or temperature/humidity alert issues: No alerts received, too many alerts, or alerts that don't match the actual situation.

The monitor can enable Cry Detection, Noise Detection, Motion Detection and Temp & Humidity separately.

1) Confirm the target detection is enabled and check the Noise/Motion sensitivity or the Temp & Humidity range and the Alert Volume;

2) Check the most recent 100 alerts for a corresponding record;

3) With cables secured, keep the camera about 1.5–2.5 m from the baby and perform one controlled verification. If it still does not trigger at all / keeps false-alarming, or evidence contradicts the settings, escalate to human support.

【T09】Temperature reading differs from other thermometers: The temperature shown on the monitor/App differs from another thermometer in the room.

Small differences may be caused by the camera placement, air circulation and nearby heat sources (camera operating range: -10–50 ℃).

1) Make sure the camera is away from direct heat sources, cold/hot air vents and direct sunlight, with the vents unobstructed;

2) Place the comparison thermometer at a similar height and environment and compare once readings stabilize;

3) Record both readings and the environment positions—do not judge hardware failure from a single difference. If the difference remains obvious and cannot be explained by the environment, or readings jump abnormally, escalate for verification.

【T10】Tracking, split-screen or scan issues: Tracking doesn't follow the target, or after connecting two cameras the split/scan doesn't work as expected.

1) Tracking: confirm Tracking is enabled and record one continuous target-movement video to capture actual following performance;

2) Two cameras: confirm both cameras are online, then go to Menu → Camera → Camera View and select Split or Scan;

3) For quick scanning, press and hold the Zoom/Scan key on the monitor for about 2 seconds to enter Scan Mode. If the issue persists with correct settings, escalate to human support.

【T11】SD card not recognized, no recording, or playback unavailable: No capacity shown in Storage, no playback found in the App, no playback entry on the monitor, or the user cannot find the SD card in the package.

A microSD card is not included in the package and must be purchased separately (Class 10 or above, up to 128 GB). 1) Check Menu → Camera → Storage to see if capacity is displayed; 2) For SD card recordings, use App Playback, or remove the card and view it on a computer after safe power-off (the monitor cannot play back recordings); for phone Record recordings, use App Album; 3) Only format via Storage after backing up videos that need to be kept, with explicit consent to clear data, and only if the card still doesn't work. If a compatible card still can't be recognized, recording/loop overwrite doesn't work, escalate to human support.

【T12】Screen turns off, wake-up, or battery-life questions: The monitor screen turns off automatically, the user thinks there is no picture, or battery life differs from expectations.

Sleep Mode selects the wake method and Display Duration determines how long until the screen sleeps; VOC turns off the screen but keeps audio monitoring and AI detection on, while Deep Sleep turns off both the screen and audio but keeps AI detection (approx. 12 h screen-on, approx. 24 h in Deep Sleep).

1) Press OK to wake the screen and check Sleep Mode and Display Duration

2) Choose VOC, Deep Sleep or always-on as needed and record one full usage cycle;

3) When charging, the monitor power light stays solid red and turns off when full; both devices use the included 5V 1.5A adapter/cable. If obvious overheating, odor, leakage or a damaged battery occurs, stop using immediately and escalate to human support.

【T14】Deleting a camera: The user explicitly wants to remove a camera from the monitor.

The JBM550 supports up to 2 cameras, and the camera and monitor are pre-paired at the factory.

1) To connect a new/reset camera to the monitor: go to Menu → Camera → Add Camera and put the camera into monitor pairing mode (Follow the on-screen prompts on the monitor to operate the PAIR key; the camera status indicator flashes red.);

2) To connect to the App: Follow the prompts on the APP interface to operate the camera PAIR key. and confirm the green flash—do not mix this up with monitor pairing mode;

3) Only execute Delete Camera when the user clearly wants to remove a camera, and confirm that camera is offline first. If a pre-existing pairing is lost for no reason, the camera cannot be restored after deletion, escalate to human support.

【T15】Warranty, return/exchange requests: The user asks about the warranty period, or requests a refund, exchange.

The JBM550 comes with a default 1-year limited warranty; it can be extended to 2 years after completing official after-sales registration (extension does not automatically take effect), and eligibility and handling plans must be verified by authorized personnel. Negotiable options include refund, exchange, or a discount for the defective product. Prepare the purchase and registration documents and escalate through the official after-sales channel for eligibility verification; do not promise applicable conditions, specific discounts, outcomes or timeframes before authorized personnel confirm.
